Daniela Vitiello

Daniela Vitiello è Coordinatrice del corso di laurea magistrale internazionale in Studi Europei su "Sicurezza e Diritti Umani" presso l'Università della Tuscia. È inoltre Principal Investigator del Progetto di Ricerca di Interesse Scientifico Nazionale (PRIN 2022) dal titolo “Towards A European Model of Community Sponsorship for Refugees: Accesso, accoglienza e integrazione”, acronimo CoSME (Community Sponsorship for Migrants in Europe). È inoltre responsabile del Work Package no. 3 del Centro di eccellenza Jean Monnet sull'integrazione dei migranti in Europa (IntoME), coordinatrice del gruppo di interesse ESIL sul diritto delle migrazioni e dei rifugiati (MigRefLaw), co-fondatrice della rete #UNITUS4Refugees. Daniela è professore associato di Diritto dell'Unione europea presso l'Università della Tuscia, dove ha la cattedra di Diritto dell'Unione europea, Diritto dell'immigrazione (in italiano) e il corso di Mobilità umana (in inglese). È anche co-referente del Rettore per la Rete delle Università Italiane per la Pace (RUNIPACE) e vicepresidente dell'Associazione “Amici di Giurisprudenza”. La prof.ssa Vitiello è autrice di una monografia sul ruolo dell'Agenzia Frontex nella gestione integrata delle frontiere esterne dell'Unione e di numerose pubblicazioni sui temi dello Spazio di libertà, sicurezza e giustizia, sulla Carta dei diritti fondamentali e sul rapporto tra gli ordinamenti. È membro del comitato editoriale di diverse riviste e blog di settore, tra cui European Papers, Roma Tre Law Review, SIDIblog e ADiM Blog, nonché coordinatore scientifico della rassegna giurisprudenziale del Gruppo IFA (Immigrazione, Frontiere e Asilo) dell'Associazione Italiana Studiosi di Diritto dell'Unione Europea (AISDUE).Daniela Vitiello is the Programme Coordinator of the International Master's Degree in European Studies on "Security and Human Rights" at the University of Tuscia (Viterbo, Italy). In addition, she is the Principal Investigator of the Research Project of National Interest (PRIN 2022) entitled "Towards A European Model of Community Sponsorship for Refugees: Access, Reception and Integration", acromym CoSME (Community Sponsorship for Migrants in Europe). She is also in charge of the Work Package no. 3 of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on the Integration of Migrants in Europe (IntoME), co-convener of the ESIL Interest Group on Migration and Refugee Law (MigRefLaw), co-founder of the #UNITUS4Refugees network. Daniela is an Associate Professor of EU law at the University of Tuscia, where she teaches the courses of EU law, EU custom law and EU migration and asylum law and policy (in Italian) and the course of Human Mobility (in English). She is also co-delegate of the Rector for the Network of Italian Universities for Peace (RUNIPACE) and Vice-President of the Association "Amici di Giurisprudenza". Dr Vitiello has written extensively on the European Union's area of freedom, security and justice and is the author of a monograph on the role of the Frontex Agency in the integrated management of the Union's external borders. She is a member of the editorial board of several journals and blogs in the field, including European Papers, Roma Tre Law Review, SIDIblog and ADiM Blog, and scientific coordinator of the jurisprudential review of the Associazione Italiana Studiosi di Diritto dell'Unione Europea (AISDUE).
