Rector and Delegates

The Delegates of the Rector, appointed according to article 10, paragraph 4, of the University Statute, promote initiatives and develop proposals in implementation of the general guidelines set by the governing bodies, in close collaboration with the relevant structures responsible for the delegated matters.

They maintain ongoing communication with the Rector and the General Director in carrying out the received delegation and annually provide the Rector with a report on the completed activities and planned activities, which is taken into account for the preparation of the explanatory report of the budget forecast.

The term of the Delegates coincides with that of the Rector. The delegated matters are outlined in the appointment provisions.

 

  • Rector for the six-year term 2025–2031

    As of 1 November 2025, the Rector of the University of Tuscia is Prof. Tiziana LAURETI, appointed for a six-year term by Ministerial Decree no. 482 of 24 July 2025.

    She succeeds

    Stefano Ubertini, elected for the six-year term 2019–2025 by Ministerial Decree no. 1010 of 31 October 2019.

  • The Deputy Vice-Rector

    The Deputy Vice-Rector is appointed by the Rector pursuant to Article 10, paragraph 4 of the University Statute.

    For the six-year term 2025–2031, Prof. Daniele CANESTRELLI was appointed (Rector’s Decree no. 665 of 6 November 2025).
