The Bachelor degree course in Biological Sciences aims to train young graduates with an appropriate basic preparation in the different area of Biology and equipped with operational and applicative skills in the biological field.
The training course and the sequence of given teachings have been designed to guarantee the student the full, integrated and progressive acquisition of skills aimed at understanding biological phenomena at increasing complexity levels.

Learning objectives
The first level degree course in Biological Sciences aims to train young graduates who have an adequate basic preparation in the disciplines of the various branches of life sciences and are equipped with operational and applicative skills in the biological field. The educational path and the sequence of teachings imparted guarantee the student a complete, integrated and progressive acquisition of skills aimed at understanding biological phenomena of increasing complexity.

Career opportunities
Professional and technical activities in public and private laboratories as biologists, biomedical laboratory technicians, environmental control and management, food product analysis; activities in the field of publishing and scientific dissemination.

Further education
Applications in the biological field. Enrolment in 1st-level Professional Master’s programmes or Master’s degree courses aimed at training professionals in several branches of life science and applied biology.

Further information about the course
By passing the State Exam, the graduate can figure in the Register of Biologists section B, Junior Biologist.
