ABSTRACT
The general objective is to improve knowledge on Risk Management through a holistic approach capable of investigating all the relevant aspects that influence risk management choices using. This is done by applying cutting-edge methodologies for risk quantification and qualification.
The main activities are:
The expected impacts are the following:
Scientific. New contributions to the scientific literature on risk management in agriculture and training of young researchers on the topic.
Technological. Development of knowledge (data, information, methodologies) to improve existing risk management tools and strategies and implement new solutions suited to farmers’ needs.
Socio-economic. Developing solutions to increase the sustainability of agriculture through greater resilience of farms to address the global challenges they face
The Project involves broad involvement of operators and public and private institutions operating in the field to ensure the development of results applicable in practice.
