    • Bio

    • Stefano Poponi is an Associate Professor in the Commodity Sciences group at the DEIM Department of the University of Tuscia in Viterbo. He teaches courses on Raw Materials and Energy Resources, Quality and Environmental Management Systems, and Resources, Waste, and Environmental Management. He is a founding member and has been President since 2012 of Gentoxchem srl, a spin-off company of the University of Tuscia, active in the Life Sciences sector. His research focuses on the implementation of sustainable practices, particularly in the application of circular economy models to the agri-food and biological sectors, with an emphasis on sustainability and innovation. He has participated in numerous National and European Projects.
