    • Full Professor of Agricultural Genetics. Coordinator of the PhD in Plant Biotechnology in 2007-2016 and of the PhD in Plant Production Sciences in 2016-2019. Vice-president of the Gian Pietro Ballatore Cereal Research Consortium, Enna. Since 2022, she has been deputy director of DAFNE. In 2023 she was elected vice-president of the Italian Society of Agricultural Genetics until 2025 to become its president for 2025-2027 She deals with the study of: Genetic, molecular and biochemical bases of the technological quality of wheat Development of wheat genotypes with improved technological, productive and nutritional characteristics with conventional and advanced procedures, Molecular and biochemical traceability of wheat Author of 85 publications, h index 31 (Nov. 2024)
