    • Bio

    • Paolo Marini (Genoa, 1980) is associate professor of Philology of Italian Literature at the University of Tuscia, where he is technical-scientific director of the University Center for Libraries. He has worked mainly on the history of Italian literature of the Renaissance with philological and critical investigations on authors of the 1500s (Aretino, Ariosto, Bibbiena, Bonfadio, Cellini, Lando, Dolce, Ruscelli). His research interests are also directed to philological and literary-historical issues related to the works of some protagonists of the XX century (Montale, Manganelli, Rosselli). Since 2023 he has been PI of the PRIN 2022 PNRR "Farnese Fasti. Management of power and promotion of consensus in the age of cardinal Alessandro iuniore (occasional literature, art, exposed writings)".
