      • Bio

      • Mauro Maesano is Associate Professor at the Department for Innovation in Biological, Agro-food and Forest Systems (DIBAF) at the University of Tuscia. His research focuses on the sustainable management of forest and agroforestry ecosystems, Urban Forestry, and the application of innovative technologies for monitoring and planning natural resources. He also conducts research in remote sensing and precision forestry, using satellite data and UAV platforms equipped with LiDAR, multispectral, hyperspectral, thermal, and RGB sensors, and integrating GIS analyses and machine learning approaches.
