      • Marco Smacchia, Ph.D., is an Assistant Professor (RTDa) in Organization Studies at the University of Tuscia (Italy). His research focuses on the organizational implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI), with particular attention to the identification and mitigation of algorithmic bias and the impact of AI on emerging forms of work. He has been a member of the Italian Chapter of AIS since 2022 and serves as a reviewer for national and international conferences and journals in the fields of Information Systems and Organization Studies. He has published in international conference proceedings (ICIS, ECIS, EGOS), academic journals (Personnel Review and Sustainability Accounting, Management and Policy Journal), and book series.
