Laura Zucconi Galli Fonseca

Associate Professor since 2005, with national scientific qualification for Full Professor. Lecturer in Botany and Plant Biology of Coastal Ecosystems. President of the Quality Assurance Committee (PQ) of the Department, member of the University Quality Assurance Committee, Director of the University Museum System, and member of the Integrated University Center. Participates in research projects in Antarctica since 1992, in projects funded by the Lazio Region, the Ministry of University and Research (PRIN), and the Italian Space Agency. The main research lines focus on soil fungal diversity and the study of adaptation and survival of soil microorganisms to extreme environmental conditions, including real and simulated space conditions, using cultural and molecular approaches.
