Giovanni Polverino

I am an Associate Professor in behavioural ecology and a first-generation university graduate. I have published over 50 peer-reviewed papers, two preprints, and one IUCN note for the European Commission on animal behaviour, behavioural ecology, ethorobotics, and biological invasions. I am the first, senior, or sole author of 32 publications and corresponding author of 20. My work appears in leading international journals, including Nature (x2). Our research directly addresses real-world problems and policies, seeking to understand how animals respond to environmental change by investigating the ecological and evolutionary causes and consequences of diversity and plasticity in behaviour and life-history traits.
