Giorgia Pietroni is an Assistant Professor (RTD-A) on Design Tools and Methods for Industrial Engineering at the Department of Economics, Engineering, Society, and Business Organization at the University of Tuscia in Viterbo, Italy. She obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering in 2017, a Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering in 2020, and a Ph.D. in Engineering for Energy and Environment in 2024, at the University of Tuscia in Viterbo, Italy. Her research topics regard methods and tools for sustainable and digital manufacturing; approaches based on Industry 4.0 and Industry 5.0 technologies to enhance efficiency, sustainability, and human-centricity; and tools and methods for eco-design and circular economy.
