Francesco Sanvitale (1995) is a Researcher in Criminal Procedure at the University of Tuscia. He graduated with honors in Law from Luiss University (Rome, Italy) in July 2019. He completed with honors his Ph.D. in Criminal Procedure at the University of Tuscia in February 2023, focusing on “Proportionality in the Criminal Procedure System as a General Principle”. During his Ph.D., he spent three months as a “Visiting Ph.D. candidate” at the Université du Luxembourg. He worked as a research fellow on the “Giustizia Agile” project. He has been a Postdoctoral Researcher in Criminal Procedure and Adjunct Professor of the course “Human Rights and Security in EU Criminal Investigations” (a.y. 2023/24 and 2024/25). He has authored articles and presented at conferences in both Italian and English.
