Francesca Saggini

Francesca Saggini has been Professor of English Literature at DISTU since 2015. Previously, she held the positions of Associate Professor and Research Fellow, both with tenure (since 2000). She is the author of 17 books and over 100 articles and book chapters published in Italy and abroad. Her awards include prizes from the Accademia dei Lincei, the European Society for the Study of English, the American Society for Eighteenth-century Studies and the European Commission; she has also been awarded two MSCA research fellowships under Horizon2020. Since 2017, she has been a Senior Associate at Lucy Cavendish College (University of Cambridge). She is also an alumna of three European Institutes of Advanced Studies.
