Dr. Diego Pennino is a fixed-term Assistant Professor in ING-INF/05 - Information Processing Systems at the Department of Economics, Engineering, Society and Business of the University of Tuscia, Viterbo, Italy. He received his Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering in 2016 and his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2021 from Roma Tre University, with a thesis entitled “Data Integrity and Scalability in Cloud-Based and Blockchain-Based Systems”. His scientific activity focuses on blockchain, distributed systems, cybersecurity, data integrity and artificial intelligence, with particular attention to system scalability, efficiency and throughput improvement, and authenticated data structures.
