Since 2017, the University of Tuscia has been a signatory to the Global Compact Principles, an initiative promoting corporate citizenship worldwide. Furthermore, starting in 2018, the University has been a founding member of the Global Compact Network Italy.
The University of Tuscia is committed to continually implementing the necessary changes to ensure that the Global Compact and its Principles become an increasingly integral part of the university’s strategy, culture, and daily operations. The University is also dedicated to contributing to the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and to promoting and disseminating the Global Compact and its Principles among stakeholders.
The Communication on Engagement (COE) outlines the main actions undertaken to support this initiative, grouped into the four areas of reference of the ten Global Compact principles: Human Rights (Principles I and II), Labor (Principles III, IV, V, and VI), Environment (Principles VII, VIII, and IX), and Anti-Corruption (Principle X). Wherever possible, the COE also includes a measurement of results, both qualitative and quantitative.
