Maker Faire Rome 2025

Once again this year, Maker Faire Rome – the leading European event for innovation, organized and promoted by the Rome Chamber of Commerce – is giving space to the key players in scientific, academic, and technological research with the Call for Universities and Research Institutes 2025, which will reward the most deserving projects from Public Universities and Research Institutes.

The 13th edition of Maker Faire Rome will take place from October 17 to 19, 2025, at the Gazometro Ostiense in Rome. Innovation will be the main focus in all its forms: from digital manufacturing to IoT, robotics to Artificial Intelligence, agritech to digital manufacturing, including Big Data, biohacking, and the latest advancements in the metaverse and augmented reality.

This is a unique opportunity for Public Universities and Research Institutes to showcase their research and development projects to the general public and increase the international visibility of their work. In this context, students will have the chance to engage with companies, start-ups, institutions, and other research centers.

Submit your project here – proposals can be submitted online until June 23, 2025 July 7, 2025.
