CONAI Award for Master’s Degree Theses on Circular Economy Topics

Applications are now open for the third edition of the CONAI Award for Master’s Degree Theses on Circular Economy topics, in collaboration with ENEA.

The call provides for the awarding of three prizes of €3,000 each for theses focusing on topics such as: corporate strategies to promote product and/or packaging sustainability and circularity, technological innovation in recycling and material recovery sectors, business decarbonization strategies, sustainable business models, sustainable packaging, product and/or packaging ecodesign, the evolution of sector regulations, and more.

The deadline for submitting theses is May 5, 2025.

The Legambiente Innovation Award, now in its 19th edition, aims to foster a research-friendly environment and contribute to the dissemination of best practices in environmental sustainability. It seeks to highlight those entities that embrace the environmental challenge as an essential value and opportunity for economic and social development.

The competition is open to start-ups, innovative SMEs, university or corporate spin-offs, and benefit corporations that promote product, process, service, technological, managerial, or social innovations aimed at significantly reducing environmental impacts and increasing resilience to the effects of climate change. Proposals will be assessed for their originality, replicability, and development potential.

Among the eligible areas of focus is also Circular Economy.

The winners in each category will receive a prize of €2,500 and the right to use the 2025 Innovation Award logo. Additional mentions may be awarded alongside the main prize.
