The “Green & Blue Jobs Days” are back: two days dedicated to professions focused on the protection of terrestrial and marine environments

The Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences (DEB) of the University of Tuscia, in collaboration with Porta Futuro Lazio (PFL), presents the third edition of the Green & Blue Jobs Days, two days of in-depth discussions and career guidance dedicated to new professional opportunities in the fields of biodiversity conservation, sustainable management of natural resources, and ecological transition.

The event will take place on Thursday, November 20, from 8:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, November 21, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., online.

November 20 will feature the Green Jobs Day, entirely dedicated to professions related to terrestrial ecosystems. Through the experiences and insights of experts and professionals working in the fields of nature conservation, environmental education, sustainable agriculture, and science communication, the event will offer an opportunity to reflect on the growing importance of green skills in building more resilient and sustainable economies.

November 21 will host the Blue Jobs Day, focused on professions connected to the marine and coastal environment. Researchers, marine protected area technicians, representatives of institutions, and innovative companies will share experiences and career paths in sustainable management, environmental monitoring, and marine renewable energy, showcasing how science and innovation can contribute to the protection of marine ecosystems and the creation of new employment opportunities.
