Merit Award in Biological Sciences – 1st Edition (Academic Year 2024–2025)

The Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences (DEB) at the University of Tuscia is pleased to announce the winners of the first edition of the Merit Award in Biological Sciences, established within the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Biological Sciences (L-13) to recognize and reward the commitment and academic achievements of outstanding students.
Each award, worth €500, is granted to second-year students enrolled in the 2024–2025 academic year who have distinguished themselves for their dedication, perseverance, and excellent academic performance in Biological Sciences.
The winners of this first edition are Eleonora Roticiani and Matteo Zaccaria.
The award ceremony will take place on Monday, November 3, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., in Room 5 (2nd floor, Block B, Riello Campus) of the Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences.
The event will open with remarks by Professor Sara Rinalducci, President of the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Biological Sciences and Chair of the selection committee. This will be followed by addresses from Professors Laura Bertini and Roberta Meschini, orientation coordinators and members of the committee. The morning will conclude with the presentation of the awards to the winners.
Through this initiative, the Department aims to promote and celebrate academic excellence, supporting students in their educational and professional development within the field of Biological Sciences.
