9 July 2025 - 11:00 / 13:00

The Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences (DEB) is pleased to host the seminar entitled “Exploring Marine Biodiversity in Turkey: From Benthic Invertebrates to Colonial Hydrozoans”, presented by Dr. Sera Övgü Kabadayi Yildirim, Assistant Professor at Isparta University of Applied Sciences (Turkey).

The speaker, an expert in marine macrobenthic invertebrates, focuses her research activities on the biodiversity of benthic communities, with a particular emphasis on sessile and colonial species. The seminar will be held on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at 11:00 AM in the Aula Magna of the University Campus of Civitavecchia. The event will provide an opportunity for in-depth discussion and exchange on recent advances in marine biodiversity research in the eastern Mediterranean.
