Confutuscia – Chinese Tea: A Leaf, A Drink, A Cultural Key

The Confucius Classroom at the University of Tuscia (Università degli Studi della Tuscia) is pleased to announce the cultural seminar titled: Chinese Tea: A Leaf, A Drink, A Cultural Key, dedicated to tea as a fundamental key to understanding Chinese civilization.
We will have the honor of hosting Dr. Ge, a professional in the food and wine sector and the owner of Sinoteca, who will lead participants in an in-depth exploration of tea culture. The educational journey will cover everything from botany to the main tea types, addressing technical terminology, traditional processing methods, and the tasting approach.
The training event will conclude with a guided tasting of selected teas (35 participants, reservation only).
It is also possible to follow the event remotely via Zoom Live Stream and YouTube Live Stream.
