Workplace Safety and Prevention of Harassment: University of Tuscia Hosts Workshop on the New 2025 State-Regions Agreement
On Friday, May 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Agriculture at the University of Tuscia will host the workshop “Training at the Core of Preventing Harassing and Violent Conduct in the Workplace”, focusing on workplace safety and the new provisions introduced by the 2025 Italian State-Regions Agreement coming into force soon.
Organized by the Department of Agricultural and Forestry Sciences (DAFNE) of the University of Tuscia, together with the Territorial Labour Inspectorate of Viterbo, the Equal Opportunities Committee and several local institutions, the event aims to promote discussion among academics, professionals and public authorities on emerging challenges in occupational health and safety.
The workshop will explore the strategic role of training in preventing harassment, discrimination and violence in the workplace, with particular attention to the new training requirements and preventive measures introduced by the State-Regions Agreement.
Following the institutional greetings by Prof. Simone Severini, Director of DAFNE, and representatives of partner organizations, contributions will be delivered by experts from academia, labour inspection authorities and occupational safety institutions, including Prof. Massimo Cecchini, Prof. Pierluigi Rossi and lawyer Annunziata Staffieri.
The event will also be available via live streaming, and continuing education credits will be recognized for lawyers attending the workshop.
