Transport Poverty in Focus: Insights from the HAC VIA Project

23 May 2025 - 9:30 / 17:00

On May 23, 2025, starting at 9:30 AM, the conference “Transport Poverty in Focus: Insights from the HAC VIA Project” will take place in the Aula Magna of the Rectorate Building at the University of Tuscia.

The event is organized as part of the PRIN 2022 PNRR HAC VIA project.

This conference offers an important opportunity to share the progress and current status of the research activities carried out by faculty and researchers from the University of Tuscia and the University of Pisa. During the event, the main findings achieved so far will be presented, with a focus on the use of innovative statistical and economic approaches to analyze territorial inequalities and support the development of policies for equitable and sustainable access to mobility.

The study of transport poverty will also be enriched with multimedia content, including videos and photographs, designed to spark both visual and emotional reflection on the topic.

The initiative is part of the official program of the ASviS 2025 Sustainable Development Festival and contributes in particular to the achievement of the following Sustainable Development Goals:
Goal 1 (No Poverty), Goal 8 (Decent Work and Economic Growth), Goal 10 (Reduced Inequalities), and Goal 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities).

Participation is free – register via the form!
