International Semester In Legal Studies 
Law Program
Spring Semester (March-May 2018)

The Law Program at Tuscia University welcomes foreign and Italian students to attend the courses (held in English) in the context of the first edition of the International Semester in Legal Studies. Attendance of these courses is open to Erasmus, Erasmus + and other foreign students, both graduate and undergraduate, who are visiting at Tuscia University on temporary basis. Italian students enrolled in the Law Program (Corso di laurea magistrale in Giurisprudenza) may also attend the courses of the International Semester to obtain the credits related to the “alternative formative activities” (6 or 4 cfu depending on the duration of the course: see below).

In the Spring Semester (March-May 2018) of the current academic year, 7 courses (mentioned below) will be offered. Registration for each course is required by 26 February 2018. For that purpose, students should indicate the course(s) of their interest at the following address: alessandro.bufalini@unitus.it. By 2 March 2018, the students will receive confirmation of their registration by email.

1. European and Global Food Law (18 hours – for students of Giurisprudenza: 6 cfu) Prof Ferdinando Albisinni

2. EU Labour Law (12 hours – for students of Giurisprudenza: 4 cfu)  Prof Luisa Ficari

3. International Law (12 hours – for students of Giurisprudenza: 4 cfu) Prof. Alessandro Bufalini

4. Selected Issues of Administrative Comparative Law (12 hours – for students of Giurisprudenza: 4 cfu) Prof Edoardo Chiti

5. EU Migration Law (12 hours – for students of Giurisprudenza: 4 cfu) Prof Mario Savino

6. At the core of the Union: the European Commission (18 hours – for students of Giurisprudenza: 6 cfu) Visiting Professor (international call)

7. Legal writing and legal reasoning (12 hours – for students of Giurisprudenza: 4 cfu) Prof Heidi Brown

Period: 22-24 and 29-31 May 2018

All the lectures will be held in the “Sala del Consiglio”, 2nd floor of the main building, San Carlo.
