Poplar cultivation provides high-quality raw material, supported by intensive clonal selection and the promotion of sound cultivation techniques. These techniques rely on significantly fewer external inputs compared to major agricultural crops that typically share the same growing areas. Producing wood also means sequestering atmospheric carbon, thereby contributing to key societal goals such as climate change mitigation and the environmental and landscape enhancement of rural areas. Among the viable approaches are agroforestry systems, which combine tree-based forestry crops with agricultural cultivation and\/or livestock farming, thus creating multifunctional agricultural systems.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"an1\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/16.0\/1f4e3\/32.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\udce3\" data-emoji=\"\ud83d\udce3\" aria-label=\"\ud83d\udce3\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"an1\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/16.0\/26a0_fe0f\/32.png\" alt=\"\u26a0\ufe0f\" data-emoji=\"\u26a0\ufe0f\" aria-label=\"\u26a0\ufe0f\" \/>\u00a0The webinar is part of the training project\u00a0<i><b>\u201cTowards Green Horizons\u201d<\/b><\/i>, organized within the framework of the excellence project\u00a0<b><a href=\"http:\/\/d.i.ve.r.so\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=http:\/\/d.i.ve.r.so\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1749029346109000&amp;usg=AOvVaw2puLZcMq_EIvVu_K8zUnQy\">D.I.Ve.r.So<\/a>.<br \/>\n<\/b>The\u00a0<i>Order of Agronomists and Foresters of Viterbo<\/i>\u00a0will grant 0.25 Professional Training Credits (CFP) for each seminar; the\u00a0<i>Territorial College of Graduate Agricultural Experts of the Province of Rome\u00a0<\/i>will grant 2 CFP per seminar; the<i>\u00a0National College of Agrotechnicians<\/i>\u00a0will also grant 2 CFP per seminar.<br \/>\nThe training project counts toward the annual 40-hour training performance target outlined in the Directive of the Minister for Public Administration dated January 16, 2025.
