It is announced that on October 24, 2024<\/strong>, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM, an event titled “The Time of the Forest: A Dialogue between Science and Art to Promote Scientific Culture” will be held in the Aula Magna of the Carabinieri Officers’ School (Via Aurelia 511, Rome). This important event is dedicated to promoting scientific culture in the field of nature conservation. Students from the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Natural and Environmental Sciences<\/strong> (Viterbo’ site) and those from the Bachelor’s Degree Program in Environmental Biological Sciences<\/strong> (Civitavecchia’s site) will participate.<\/p>\n

During the event, Francesco Petretti, a biologist and prominent communicator of biodiversity, known for his books and television documentaries, will speak.<\/p>\n

A bus will be provided to transport participants to the Carabinieri Officers’ School, departing at 8:00 AM from the Department’s square (Largo dell\u2019Universit\u00e0 snc) and returning to Viterbo at 2:30 PM. Students and faculty interested in using this service or reaching the venue independently are welcome to do so.<\/p>\n

As a result, lessons will be suspended<\/strong> for the entire day of October 24, 2024, for the aforementioned degree programs.<\/p>\n

Faculty and students wishing to participate in the event are invited to communicate their name, surname, and date of birth to Dr. Adriana Bellati (adriana.bellati@unitus.it<\/a>) or Dr. Michele Baliva (m.baliva@unitus.it<\/a>), specifying whether they need a seat on the bus or will travel to the venue independently.<\/p>\n

Students who participate will be awarded 0.5 CFU<\/strong> of internship, upon submission of a certificate confirming participation.<\/p>\n
