National guidelines prescribe their use to describe the current state of habitats and compare changes over time in terms of the presence and coverage of plant species, site conditions, and structural parameters. These changes allow us to understand ongoing ecological dynamics and the responses of plant communities to human impacts resulting from the use of natural resources and land management. The primary objective of this type of monitoring is to collect data that, when processed into local-scale indicators, provide a picture of the health of habitats over time. The focus is on plant species, considered ecological sentinels, useful for assessing the effectiveness of land management and guiding potential conservation measures. As part of the DigitAP project, data collection using this traditional methodology is aimed at national standardization through the use of digital applications that facilitate the recording, archiving, and sharing of surveys. The goal is to build a permanent habitat monitoring network in National Parks and create a database of flora and vegetation indicators. This database will be a valuable tool not only for technicians and experts, but also for Park staff and Protected Area users, contributing to a more informed, transparent, and sustainable management of natural heritage.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"an1\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/16.0\/1f4e3\/32.png\" alt=\"\ud83d\udce3\" data-emoji=\"\ud83d\udce3\" aria-label=\"\ud83d\udce3\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"an1\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/fonts.gstatic.com\/s\/e\/notoemoji\/16.0\/26a0_fe0f\/32.png\" alt=\"\u26a0\ufe0f\" data-emoji=\"\u26a0\ufe0f\" aria-label=\"\u26a0\ufe0f\" \/>\u00a0The webinar is part of the training project\u00a0<i><b>\u201cTowards Green Horizons\u201d<\/b><\/i>, organized within the framework of the excellence project\u00a0\u00a0<span dir=\"auto\">\ud835\uddd7.\ud835\udddc.\ud835\udde9\ud835\uddf2\ud835\uddff.\ud835\udde6\ud835\uddfc<\/span><b>.<br \/>\n<\/b>The\u00a0<i>Order of Agronomists and Foresters of Viterbo<\/i>\u00a0will grant 0.25 Professional Training Credits (CFP) for each seminar; the\u00a0<i>Territorial College of Graduate Agricultural Experts of the Province of Rome\u00a0<\/i>will grant 2 CFP per seminar; the<i>\u00a0National College of Agrotechnicians<\/i>\u00a0will also grant 2 CFP per seminar.<br \/>\nThe training project counts toward the annual 40-hour training performance target outlined in the Directive of the Minister for Public Administration dated January 16, 2025.
