State of the art and prospects 30 years after the Galli law"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At the Aula Magna of the Rectorate of the University, this Friday, March 21, at 3:00 p.m., a public meeting will take place in the presence of university professors, directors and experts, who will discuss the state of the art and possible future prospects of the water sector in Italy.<\/p>\n<p>The so-called Galli law (law no. 36 of 1994) marked, just over 30 years ago, a turning point in the management of water resources in our country, in an attempt to provide efficiency and effectiveness to the actions of the public administrations involved in the matter. Over time, the law has undergone several changes and today its provisions are included in the so-called environmental code (legislative decree no. 152 of 2006).<\/p>\n<p>The current regulation has been then enriched, by will of the legislator (d.l. n. 201 of 2011), by the intervention of the Regulatory Authority for Energy, Networks and the Environment (ARERA), which for over ten years, as regulator of the sector, has been defining the tariff frameworks applicable to end users, in a continuous dialogue with public entities and concessionary companies.<\/p>\n<p>The event has been organized as part of the course in \u201cForestry and Environmental Legislation\u201d (DAFNE, adjunct professor Gabriele Sabato) taking place in this second semester, in collaboration with the doctoral course in \u201cChanging Society.
