Pagnotta<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">E-mail: <a href=\"mailto:pagnotta@unitus.it\">pagnotta@unitus.it<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Laboratory is equipped with molecular biology tools used to carry out both research and teaching activities (internships, placements, final papers, degree theses).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main research areas developed are the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Evaluation of genetic variability and genetic distance between different accessions<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Phylogenetic genetic analysis of populations.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Analysis of the main traits involved in tolerance to abiotic stress. Mainly drought and salt stress.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Molecular analysis to characterize plant germplasm and certify its origin.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Recent research projects are:<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cIncreasing the efficiency and competitiveness of organic crop breeding\u201d ECOBREED from 01\/05\/20018 to 01\/02\/2024. Funding for UO 310 \u20ac980.09. European research project Horizon 2020\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">of the agreement between Institute of Bio- and Geosciences, Plant Sciences (IBG-2) Wilhelm-Johnen-Stra\u00dfe 42528 J\u00fclich Germany referred to as \u201cJUELICH\u201d and DAFNE for Transnational Access to EPPN2020 Plant Phenotyping infrastructure.2020-2021<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Project \u201cNational Research Centre for Agricultural Technologies (Agritech)\u201d, MUR identification code CN00000022 referred to in Public Notice no. 3175 of 18\/12\/2021- of the National Plan National Recovery and Resilience Plan, Mission 4 Component 2 Investment 1.4 \u201cStrengthening research structures and creation of &#8220;national R&amp;D champions&#8221; on some Key Enabling Technologies\u201d funded by the European Union \u2013 NextGenerationEU\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Head: Prof. Mario A.
