The most studied species is the tomato; recently, research on <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Brassica<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> spp. and celery has been undertaken.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The main research areas are the following:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Study of genes and mutations affecting the tomato reproductive system.
