DESCRIPTION:Since 2022\, the Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences (DEB) has offered a spring seminar series focused on scientific dialogue. This year\, the Spring DEBates return in a completely renewed format: national and international professors and researchers will share their work\, ideas\, and perspectives on the most current scientific issues. \nThe series\, coordinated by Prof. Giovanni Polverino\, is part of the training activities of the PhD program in “Ecology and Sustainable Management of Environmental Resources\,” but participation is open to everyone. It consists of eight independent talks and will begin on February 19 and conclude on May 28. The seminars will be held in a hybrid format (in-person at the DEB classrooms and/or online via live Zoom streaming) on Thursday afternoons\, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM\, biweekly. \nThe fifth edition will be inaugurated by Prof. Nicolò Colombani\, Associate Professor at the Department of Sciences and Engineering of Matter\, Environment\, and Urban Planning at the Polytechnic University of Marche\, with a talk titled “Salinity origins and patterns in shallow groundwater bodies of the Po River lowland.” \nAll PhD students in Ecology and Sustainable Management of Environmental Resources will earn 1 ECTS credit upon attending all the seminars. \nParticipation does not require registration: links for online seminars will be published on the DEB website and social media channels one week before each event. \nYou can check out the full schedule of the seminar series here. \nDownload the poster for the first seminar here. It will provide an international forum to discuss the transformations affecting the right to asylum\, the balance between protection and control\, and the institutional\, judicial and administrative challenges raised by the Pact’s implementation. Cosa cambia con la Riforma in attuazione delle Direttive Europee?\n09.06.2026\, ore 14:30 – Aula 4\, Santa Maria in Gradi \nLo schema di decreto legislativo (Atto del Governo n. 382) di attuazione delle Direttive (UE) 2024/1499 e 2024/1500 interviene proponendo di sostituire la Consigliera nazionale di Parità e l’intera rete territoriale delle consigliere e dei consiglieri di parità\, di cui agli artt. 12-20 del d.lgs. 198 del 2006\, e l’Ufficio Nazionale Antidiscriminazioni Razziali – Unar con un’unica autorità amministrativa\, centralizzata e indipendente\, dotata di autonomia regolamentare\, organizzativa e contabile volta a ricoprire un mandato più ampio\, comprensivo delle discriminazioni basate su tutti i fattori previsti dal diritto antidiscriminatorio\, e sul quale ricadono nuove funzioni.
