SUMMARY:Registrations are now open for the Summer School on Ecological Restoration and the Nature Restoration Regulation
DESCRIPTION:Applications are officially open for the Summer School “Ecological Restoration and the Nature Restoration Regulation”\, a free training opportunity promoted by the National Biodiversity Future Center (NBFC) and the University of Genoa\, with the support of the Italian Network for Ecological Restoration (RIRE) and the NbS Italy Hub. Among the members of the scientific committee is Professor Chiara Baldacchini\, lecturer in Physics at the Department of Ecological and Biological Sciences and deputy coordinator of the Hub. \nThe initiative will take place in Genoa from 8th to 12th September 2025 and is aimed at professionals in the field\, staff of public or private institutions\, as well as recent graduates interested in pursuing a career in environmental sustainability and applied ecology. The course aims to provide both theoretical knowledge and practical skills for the implementation of the Nature Restoration Regulation across urban\, rural\, and marine contexts. The programme includes lectures\, field excursions\, and interactive workshops led by experts\, researchers\, and specialized faculty members. \nParticipation is free of charge and limited to a maximum of 40 selected candidates. Travel expenses will be covered\, while accommodation and meals will be the responsibility of participants. \nApplications must be submitted by July 28th\, 2025\, to the email address formazione@micamo.com\, along with a curriculum vitae and a motivation letter. DESCRIPTION:From September 9 to 12\, 2025\, the LXVIII Annual Congress of the Italian Society of Agricultural Genetics (SIGA) will be held in Viterbo. The venue of the Congress will be the Auditorium of the Monumental Complex of Santa Maria in Gradi\, University of Tuscia\, Via Santa Maria in Gradi 4.
