Proceedings of the 29th

International Conference on

Discrete Simulation of Fluid Dynamics (DSFD2020)

The Proceedings of DSFD 2020 will be published in Special Issues of the Journal of Computational Science and the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A. The contributions must be strictly original papers which have not been submitted or already published earlier. The Guest Editors for these Special Issues are: Giovanni Di Ilio, Giacomo Falcucci, Daniele Chiappini and Sauro Succi.

The authors are suggested to send an extended abstract of maximum 4 pages  of the manuscript (including no more than 2 Figures and a short Reference Section) to the conference email ID, dsfd2020@unitus.it  by September 10th 2020

Authors should also indicate the choice of the journal:

Journal of Computational Science, Special Issue: “Discrete Simulation of Fluid Dynamics: methods and applications”. The Call For Paper for this Special Issue is available here. The submission deadline is 31st December 2020.

The Journal of Computational Science publishes advanced innovative, interdisciplinary research where complex multi-scale, multi-domain problems in science and engineering are solved, integrating sophisticated numerical methods, computation, data, networks, and novel devices.

Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A, Special Issue: “Progress in mesoscale methods for fluid dynamics simulation”. The submission deadline is 30th November 2020.

Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A publishes new research, reviews and opinions from prominent researchers in the field of physical, mathematical and engineering sciences.

For works oriented to the Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society A, there will be an overall limit of 200 pages for the entire Special Issue, thus contributions up to 14 pages will be given priority.

The extended abstract should be a single PDF with the file name as  "dsfd2020_extedned_abstract_name_of_the_presenter.pdf"

The Latex template for the extended abstract is here.
The Word template for the extended abstract is here.

Once recommendation from Guest Editors  is received, the manuscript must be submitted via the specific journal's online submission and peer-review system, and it must be prepared as per the specific journal format. Please ensure you read the Guide for Authors (JOCS ; Phil. Trans. A) before writing your manuscript.
