From 1985 to 1992, Researcher at the Centro di Sperimentazione Agricola e Forestale
(Italian Pulp and Paper Agency, Rome, Italy), Dept. of Plantation Forestry .
From 1986 to 1992, Adjunct Professor of Sylviculture at the University of Basilicata, Italy.
From 1992 to 2000, Associate Professor of Forest Inventory at the University of Florence, Italy.
Since 2001, Full Professor (Chair of Forest management) at the University of Tuscia, Italy.
Dean of the School of Forest and Environmental Sciences, at the Faculty of Agriculture of the University of Tuscia, Italy, since 2002.

 

 President of the Italian Forest Graduates Association.

 

 Director of the Department of Forest Environment and Resources of the University of Tuscia, Italy, since 2009.
